The DRAKE ARCHERY ELITE Night Fury is a successful combination of different, harmonizing materials. Dymondwood in the centerpiece, black fiberglass laminate in the limbs and bamboo strips that "frame" the centerpiece and run through the entire bow result in a compact, slim and pleasantly light bow.
The Dymondwood used is an innovative material, made from several layers of wood that are bonded with epoxy resin to form a highly stable material. The processing of different layers of wood enables a color design that creates an absolutely unique look in black and gray. The coloring makes the arch appear mysterious and mystical, as if it has just escaped the depths of the night, but that is also where it feels most comfortable. Maybe that's why DRAKE Archery chose the name "Night Fury", as this name translates to wildness and temperament. Two characteristics that are well known in archery. Aside from its stunning appearance, the Dymondwood material also offers a number of technical advantages that make it so interesting for bow making: It is light, absorbs vibrations and allows for faster, more consistent shooting.
The handle area, which at first glance seems very slim, is "different" when you first pick it up, because its ergonomic shapes with a relatively flat palm rest are dimensioned so that they fit perfectly in the hand. This gives the bow a pleasant lightness and the shooter good control over it.
