The strong grain of the multi-layered real wood veneer, separated by a red and white decorative strip, gives the bow its striking appearance. The short Take Down Recurve not only scores points with its design, its ergonomically shaped middle section makes it very comfortable to hold.

Blue Royal – A royal name for an attractive bow! DRAKE ARCHERY chose the name for this bow carefully, as the contrasting stripe in the middle gives it something elegant. The entire color scheme of the bow in deep black and royal blue is very harmonious and even the brass-colored elements on the tiller screws appear well placed.
Of course, it's not just the extraordinary and very interesting coloring that is so convincing about the Blue Royal. The centerpiece, for example, is made from Dymondwood, an innovative, highly stable material made from multiple layers of wood and epoxy resin, which absorbs vibrations and allows for faster, more consistent shooting across the rounded shelf. As modern as this material is, it does not deny its foundation and allows the natural grain of the wood to be presented in a royal blue.
The centerpiece is completed by the DRAKE Traditional Performance limbs made of maple wood and dark Dymondwood, which are named so for a reason. The Riva riser comes in as many as five color variants: Fern – a rich green, Truffle – a wonderfully warmer brown tone, Midnight – a deep dark blue, Plum – an exciting violet, and Hibiskus – a thrilling combination of deep blue and mystical violet. Visually, the riser stands out through the expressive contrast of the center stripe made of deep black Drake stabilized wood, framed by particularly fine-grained Dymondwood in beautiful color variations.
For now we are limiting ourselves here to the Truffle in a beautiful brown tone.
A 17 inch riser and medium limbs make a 62 inch bow.
Thanks to the combination of Drake stabilized wood and Dymondwood, the riser owes its slightly higher weight. A higher weight in the riser brings various advantages. It makes the riser considerably more torsionally stiff, which increases precision and almost completely eliminates any possible hand shock.
The riser is completed by high-quality limbs with a powerful bamboo core and an inlay of black stabilized wood covered with silky-matte black Power Glass. The RIVA limbs offer everything you expect from high-quality limbs: good stability and excellent cast performance.
Both the riser and the limbs are each available in two lengths. The slim, ergonomic riser is available in 15 and 17 inches. Combined with the limbs in medium and long, this results in bow lengths of 60, 62 and 64 inches. A special feature here is that there are two ways to configure the 62 inch bow: either with the 17 inch riser and the medium limbs or with the 15 inch riser and the long limbs. The latter variant is perfect for archers with a long draw length who still prefer a shorter bow.

With its new bow line Hawk, SPIDERBOWS presents a true all-rounder in the field of take down recurve bows. A year of development work and many test shots were carried out to build a (hunting) bow that is suitable for all archers, whether women, men or youths. For this, the riser is fitted with a more delicate grip that nestles perfectly into the hand and immediately conveys a pleasant yet committed feel. This way the riser fits both more delicate and stronger hands equally well. Combined with the matching limbs, the 15, 17 or 19 inch risers make a very fast and precise hunting recurve with excellent cast characteristics. In the SRF Design variant, the risers are made heavier, by about 20%, than the regular Hawk risers. This gives the bow an even calmer shooting behavior and a plus in precision.
The riser is made of highly stable, sustainable SRF wood in Cocobolo, masur birch or rosewood design. Sustainability is achieved by using European woods, which through a special treatment not only get their beautiful design but also gain in stability and weight. Without additional inlays or other materials, this creates a vibration-free riser that impresses with absolute precision.
The Hawk Competition limb is the predestined tournament limb in the Hawk series. The limb fits all Hawk risers. Its core of high-performance bamboo is flanked on the outside by a solid 3K visible carbon and by the special black Spiderbows glass on the inside. This limb offers maximum torsional stiffness and is particularly light and fast thanks to the carbon. In addition, the Hawk Competition limb draws really smoothly even at long draw lengths and offers excellent precision.
