The history of the Bearpaw Limb System

It all began in 2014, when BEARPAW PRODUCTS achieved its first successes on the global archery market with the legendary 17-inch riser of the MOHAWK. With growing recognition and a large fan community behind us, the 13-inch riser of the future MOHAWK Hunter was developed. This allowed us to master the challenge of combining our proven limbs with the new MOHAWK Hunter riser. With the new 13-inch MOHAWK Hunter riser, a short and therefore aggressive take-down bow with the AMO bow length of 56 | 58 inches was developed.
To create a system that allows the archer to use the best BEARPAW risers with the most diverse BEARPAW limbs, the limb pockets on the riser had to be designed so that the tiller angle guarantees uniform use. One of our goals is also that the draw weight of the limbs remains unchanged, even when you swap the risers. The length of the BLS riser should therefore have no influence on the draw weight.
This was one of the most important steps towards the BLS: everything must combine perfectly with each other. We now offer more than 54 risers within the BLS, including the long-awaited BIG BEAR riser. Depending on individual preference and your own requirements, these can be combined with various BEARPAW/Bodnik limbs: Recurve Long | Short in black or olive, as well as Hybrid (black or olive).

Because for us there is no single kind of archery.

Every single BLS bow is built in elaborate handwork in our own manufactory.
*Warranty conditions: For all BLS bows, BEARPAW PRODUCTS grants a 30-year warranty against breakage, cracks and delamination. Excluded from the warranty are signs of wear, damage caused by grossly negligent or intentional behaviour, or twisted limbs after a usage period of 6 months. The warranty service is provided by replacing or repairing the bow. The statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this warranty and apply independently of it.
