Its density is almost twice that of steel, which offers a decisive advantage: at the same weight, the tip can be built significantly shorter and slimmer. This shifts the arrow's center of gravity further forward (F.O.C.) and ensures an extremely stable flight path, even in wind. In addition, tungsten is so extremely hard and resistant that the tips barely deform even on hard impacts. Anyone looking for championship-level precision cannot avoid this high-tech material.
