The Cayuga is a special longbow with great performance. The classic design is underlined by the beautiful combination of high-quality precious woods and its dark limbs. The handle is made of fine bubinga and wenge. Despite its short bow length of 66 inches, this fast longbow is suitable for draws up to 31 inches.

The history of the Bearpaw Limb System

It all started in 2014 when BEARPAW PRODUCTS achieved its first successes on the global archery market with the legendary 17 inch handle of the MOHAWK. With increasing popularity and a large fan community behind it, the 13 inch handle of the future MOHAWK Hunter was developed. We thus mastered the challenge of being able to combine our proven limbs with the new MOHAWK Hunter handle. The new 13 inch MOHAWK Hunter middle section is a short and therefore aggressive take down bow with the AMO bow length of 56 | 58 inches.
In order to create a system that will allow the archer to use the best BEARPAW risers with a wide variety of BEARPAW limbs, the contact surfaces of the limbs on the riser had to be designed in such a way that the angle of attack guarantees uniform use. One of our goals was also to keep the draw weight of the limbs unchanged even when changing the risers. The length of the BLS middle section should therefore have no influence on the draw weight.
This was one of the most important steps towards BLS: everything must be able to be perfectly combined with each other. We now offer more than 54 grips within the BLS, including the long-awaited BIG BEAR riser. Depending on individual preference and your own requirements, these can be combined with various BEARPAW Limbs: Recurve Long | Short in black or olive, as well as hybrid (black or olive).

Because for us there is no archery.

This Byron Ferguson bow is made to his exact specifications. Here we have realized his ideas for a bow that is forgiving and shoots with absolute precision. The extremely slim limbs were optimized with carbon laminate. By using carbon material in the limbs, a high degree of shooting comfort and increased performance are achieved.
